an adventure

Today's drive was an adventure, much like some of the things that we learned and will learn. This year, I went from a classroom with white /chalk boards and a screen with a stick to hold it down.... to a classroom with a smartboard, document camera, etc. I know that there is a lot that i can do, but i also feel that there should be a balance between types of presentations and assignments. I struggle with having the students do powerpoints or videos -- i wonder if they are doing cool things and learning or if they are merely showing their technology skills.
