I heard some new technology terms that I had never been exposed to before: Mabeam, Radio frequency ids (RFID), Prezi, Online document repositories, Extranet, Mashups, Mesh, Digital dust, and Digital ink. I got a refresher on Excel and learned new ways to use Excel. The thing with Excel is that I need to use it more often so that I don’t forget how to use it. I have seen it before, but can never remember everything. It also seems that I have not had any special class or training on Excel. With all the formulas and things, it is not as easy to pick up as Microsoft Word. Still, I am excited to learn more and look forward to becoming a lot more tech-literate by the end of class.
