I was one of the people who didn't see the gorilla in the video, I'm also older than 26. I was so focused on watching the basketball and trying to keep count that I probably would not have noticed anything else that happened. It really was a good lesson in how you can lose focus of the big picture when you are only focusing on one thing.
As for the copyright issues that we discussed, I think that there should be both an undergrad class/lesson/seminar and that it should be a part of a districts new teacher training. I had never heard the 10% thing before, and as we saw in the class most of us had "heard" things that weren't exactly correct.
