I am amazed at the amount of technology that is at our fingertips. I can see the benefits that can come from using technology if used correctly in the classroom. What I wonder is, if technology is becoming important in the classroom are the Universities training future teachers on how to use technology? I know it is frustrating for many of us because we just don't know how to incorporate some of this in the classroom.

I too am amazed at the amount of technology. I am also jealous that it is available for teachers in public schools. I teach in a technological wasteland. Only a handful of individuals have access to the internet, and there are so many times that I wish I could access it. My students have such limited backgrounds that any bit of information would help them learn.
